Just letting all my bear friends know it is
7 more Sleeps.

I am getting so excited

But guess what. Last week the postie came and we had a big parcel.
Who likes opening parcels?
me.
inside the big parcel there were 2 parcels.
A big one for me
and a nice little one for granny.
Rip, rip... and mine was open. I could not believe my eyes.

Some one had made the most beautiful Poo bear quilt, just for me.
I know every stitch was made with love. Now I know Prudence (my bear friend) would have made this for me, but may be her mum might have helped just a little. Her name is Joyce from "The Bears Blog"
http://wwwbearsjustb-claws.blogspot.com.au/
they have the best craft room you have ever seen.
Thank you so much Prudence and Joyce.
It feels so snuggley and warm.
Granny is so happy, she has a wonderful Snowman wall hanging that is hung just under the kitchen clock so she can see it all the time.

Thank you so much my special friends.

I am going to bed with my snuggley quilt hoping that 7 sleeps goes quickly.
I'm dreaming of friends I know over seas and also in Australia.
I hope they have a warm and happy heart like me.

Just letting you all know, our street has turned purple again.
Plus when this was taken it was breeding wheelie bins.
Must be rubbish day.

See you all next time

It soon will be
Christmas.
Granny and I put the tree up. I am in the window watching the lights.
I just love all the sparkle.

I haven't posted in a long, long while. When it gets near to Christmas we think of all those we love, so I am thinking of you.

Granny has been making Reindeer's, and they are every where.
She has sold so many.

 See here is another lot.

this is just a couple of little creatures Granny has made in the last few weeks.
I hope this little mouse is writing his Christmas list.

Granny and I send the biggest Warm Christmas Wishes to you all.
Guess what I am still eating Peanut paste and honey on toast for supper!
In fact I have the tummy rumbles now.

Valentines Day Wishes

My Heart is beating very fast.
Can you believe it is Valentines day here in South Australia,
The sun is out and the birds are singing
and so am I.

I received a Valentine Day card from a special friend in the USA.
Her name is Prudence and she is the prettiest and kindest bear you ever could find.

I know we live along way away from each other, but friendship does not stop at the boundary's of a country.
I haven't been posting very much lately, but some friends stick to you no matter how long it is since you have seen them, or spoken to them.
They are the special people in my life.

Have you noticed I have a tissue by me because when I read this card, I am so happy, that my eyes start leaking.
I picked this rose for you Prudence, it is called "Best Friend" and it smells Beeeauuutiful.

I will have my warm milk and peanut butter and honey on toast, before I go to bead. With my card under my pillow and dream.

I will write again soon.

This rose is for all my Bear friends all over the world.
Happy Valentines Day
From Me.

My thought for the day
"Kissing may be unsanitary--------but can you think of a nicer way to meet a germ?"

Hi it's Wilbur here.

It is about time I said Hello!
Can you remember me???
I'm Wilbur.

Now I have a lot to tell you but I will tell you bit by bit.
This year I have been so busy, and Granny said I was using too much screen time, soooo, I did miss you all.

I probably won't be writing every week, but I do want so badly to keep in touch with my lovely friends.
Guess what happened on Friday? A parcel arrived for ME!
Goody, goody gum drops I was so excited.

Granny always taught me to read the card first. It was so pretty and guess who it was from?
Some one on the other side of the world. ( I can never work out how they don't slip off if our world is round.)

Of course it is from my very, very dear friend Prudence.
My heart skipped a little beat.

Can you guess?
It is the most perfect place mat that ever could be. It was made by Prudence's Mum, and it even has Christmas 2015 on it, so I will never, ever forget when she gave it to me.
On the other side it has a picture of lots of lovely friendly bears.
I definitely won't spill my milk on it. I promised Granny I would be very careful.

Something else was in the envelope that came from the other side of the world.
I opened it before I read it was for Granny. "Sorry Granny."
So we read the card together. What a lovely snowy scene, do you think it may be Prudence's house?
She would not want ice blocks from the fridge in that cold weather. I love them when it is hot at my house.
In the parcel for Granny was the most beautiful music you could ever hear, from Baltimore Estate. We played it straight away and both Granny and I could imagine Prudence and her mum, walking through that most beautiful house seeing all the Christmas trees and twinkling lights. I think they might even play the same music we now have.
(I can just dream)
Ha! ha! guess what? There was even more fun after we finished looking at our  presents....... POPPING the BUBBLE WRAP!!!

Do you like doing that. Once I start I can't stop.

It is great to say Hello to you all again, but guess what?
I am going to have my milk and cookies on my own special mat and off to bed to dream about a special friend, who was so, so kind sending Granny and me a wonderful parcel.

I will see you all some time soon.

My thought for the day

" Our days are happier when we give
people a bit of our heart,
rather than a piece of our mind."

Happy Easter

Happy, Hoppity Easter...
I went hunting for Easter Eggs in the garden this morning and look what I found.
A beautiful nest of dried flowers with a big egg and lots of littles in it.
Yum Oh!!!

Can you believe how big it is?
I asked Granny why we get Eggs at Easter time?
She told me it was to celebrate new life.
"I beg your pardon Granny"
How can a chocolate egg make new life?
Well she said the little chicks, turtles, crocodiles, and all sorts  of things hatch out of eggs, and we were given a New life because Jesus died on the cross for us.

"So Granny , will a chicken, turtle or crocodile be inside my egg??"

Granny said no. Just real eggs.
OK!!!
am I game to bite into it?

I have the paper off do you think I should bite into it?
Ok here goes. I can't wait to eat chocolate.
can you believe a tiny little chick was inside...
He doesn't cheep, but I am still waiting!!!

I had Chocolate for breakfast, lunch and now I think I will have chocolate for supper, Just to vary it, I will have chocolate milk to wash it down.

I had a wonderful card from Prudence for Easter. Thank you my dear friend. I love it and have it sitting on my cupboard so I can see it every day.

This is a little note to say Granny and I are going to have a little break from posting every week. You might see a post when something special happens.
Does anything special happen in your house?
Well I certainly will post when I hear that chicken cheep.

Hugs Wilbur

Now this is a special rose that Granny is planting this winter.
It is called "Best Friend."
We are planting it because you all are our beat friends and the perfume will remind us of you all.

My thought for the week.
"It is not enough to buy a tee shirt or some shoes.
To change the world you need to put on some work boots and pick up a shovel."

Golly Day.

A bears best friend is Golly.
At our club, "Bears and Friends." we have a Golly day once a year.

We had big ones, small ones and some as big as your fist....
Some were weeny teeny little Gollies.

I wonder if any of these Gollies are related.
We had 450 Gollies at our meeting.
They sure out numbered the Teddy Bears.

The two sitting on the top of that hat box were made by Granny. She was so pleased to see them again.
This guy was very big.. and look at the teeny weeny little ones at his toes.
A case full of hugs
This is where all the teeny tiny ones gathered, so they didn't get lost..
I think I will go and paint my face black, I feel as though I stand out like a soar thumb with all these gorgeous black beauty's.
Granny loves them and so do I.
They always have so much fun when we play hide and seek in the dark. I can never find them. The problem is they can always find me.

I think I will try toast and vegemite for tea, it might make me look like those beautiful Gollies.

I will see you next week
Hugs Wilbur

This little bear is hungry. He has no stuffing in him at all, but he wanted to tell you all how cuddley he is.
Granny hopes to finish him tomorrow.

Have a good week all my lovely followers.

My thought for the week.
