Christmas Day.

I loooove Father Christmas.
Can you believe he came to me.  He left a present in my stocking!!!!
WOW
Can you remember how much I wanted a mouth organ, Well some how Father Christmas knew, and he gave me one.
I am playing Silent Night ------can you hear it???
My next favorite song is "Grandma got run over by a reindeer"  ha ha do you know that one. It is so funny.
My Granny didn't get run over!!!

I read all my cards every day. I have a stack of them, so it takes quite awhile. It is a great feeling knowing you have so many very kind friends.
Now comes the secret part!!!!
Do you ever feel like a snack and you know Granny wouldn't want you to have one.
WELL!!!
I have sneaked under my bed spread with the shortbread tin and the honey, chocolate biscuits that came all the way from Germany...yum, yum, yum.
They were lip smacking good.
See Granny will not even know how many I had... Great idea don't you think.

I do hope you all had the best Christmas just like me. Did I mention the Pudding...wow was that something delicious.

I don't know why, but I am too full for supper. Granny thinks I am sick. Don't tell on me will you!!!!

I will see you all next week.

This photo is just for all my followers to remind you who might come to your place next year.

My thought for the week.

How are Christmas preparations going in your house?

A week full of fun.
Are you making things at your house?
We are.
Abbey came to decorate the Gingerbread village.
Not a house, a VILLAGE.
We had loads of white snow icing every where, and LOTS and LOTS of lollies.

I had to help. (you know where there is lollies I help.)
Today we made more shortbread. I think Granny has made about 600. That is what we do at Christmas time, make shortbread's and give them away to all our friends.
If you lived near I would certainly give you some too.

First we have to kneed the dough, it is hard work.
Then when they are on the tray we prick them with a fork.
Wulla!!!!
They come out of the oven hot and smelling deeeelishious!!!!
Granny always tells me I will burn myself if I eat them too soon.
I do try and sneek one as soon as I can pick one up with out burning myself
YUM!!!
It has been a busy day, I thought I would go in the lounge and see if my sign was still in the right place for Santa to see. Do you think I should put it in the window or outside? I want to get it right because Santa needs to stop at my house. I have tried to be good , well most of the time.
Some things warm Granny's heart.
1. Grandchildren
2. Great Grandchildren

This is Granny's very special Great Grandchild, Summer.
She looks so happy to see Santa.
Granny could look at that happy little face all day.
I have got to know our Postie very well. He knocks on the door, and asks is Wilbur home. Of course I need to sign for the parcel, which is a bit hard.
Granny said a X is ok.
Thank you so much Birgit and Flutterby ,you are such good friends, all the way from Germany. Can you see my beautiful teddy card, and Gingerbread, Birgit wrote a note to say they were German Gingerbread's with plenty of HONEY!!!!!
Plus marzipan, and two lovely little ornies.
You need to go and have a look at Birgit and Flutterby's blog, although right at this minute they are having internet problems.          http://biwubaer.blogspot.com.au/
Do you ever feel your heart is going to burst with love?
Well that is how I feel.

I'm having German gingerbread with loads of honey and warm chocolate milk for supper.

I do hope Santa comes to all those lovely followers and that you, and all those you love have a Merry Christmas

Hugs Wilbur

I'm going to sleep under the tree.

Have you ever taken a peep at your parcel.
Well I was lying under the tree and I couldn't help just having a teeny weeny look, just one end of my parcel.
I tried to smell what was in the parcel. No!!!
I tried to rattle the parcel.!!! No!!!
Could I just open the box????

Oh NO Granny is coming.
Phew..Granny came in to tell me Prudence had rung her and said I could open my present.
Now that was a close call, I thought I was going to get in to big trouble.
I opened the box and out popped this cute little bear with my name on his hat.
Can you believe it actually said Wilbur. Then down the bottom it has the year 2014
It had a little hanger on it to go on the tree.
I am the luckiest bear in the world to have so many beautiful friends.
Prudence told Granny she could open hers, so she could enjoy Christmas longer.
guess what???
A CD of the Biltmore House Pipe Organ.
you will see what a special place it is.
It has been playing nearly non stop in our house.
Can you see I put my little Wilbur on the tree so I can see it.
I am sleeping under the tree tonight and may be every night until Christmas.
I want to see all the wonderful things friends have given me and watch the twinkling lights.
Even though I am sleeping under the tree, I still needed my toast with peanut butter and honey, plus a large glass of warm chocolate milk.

Just before I go I thought all of my friends overseas might like to see this funny
video of Christmas in Australia.

see you all next week.

For all my lovely followers I hope you get a giggle out of this picture.

My chat to Father Christmas.

I'm so excited I had a little talk to you know who?
It was the last Blackwood market for the year and GUESS who was there?
"Father Christmas". Whooppee!!!
He was so kind and asked what I wanted him to bring me; well I could hardly think let alone say what I wanted, so I said a reindeer would be good.
He told me it might poop in his bag coming all the way from the North Pole, and the dolls would complain about the stink. So he said, try again.
I couldn't think quick enough, so I said a surprise would be nice thank you..
Can you believe he said Ho, Ho, I think I can manage that...
I think he is really coming to my place.

See that elf with"nice" written on his hat, well that was Father Christmas's special elf.
I wonder where the naughty one went. I think this one looked like a bit of mischief, he had that wicked twinkle in his eye.

Father Christmas had such a soft white beard, I think it must grow like that up in the snow.
I forgot to ask where the reindeer were... oh well next time I see him I will ask and let you all know.

I am worried, now I have to be good all the time until Christmas day..
It is so hard being good all the time.
I'm in love
The most beautiful fairy came to the market and she picked me up and"HUGGED" me.
She was so gorgeous and her wings looked like they could carry me with her.
She told me she was the Christmas fairy.
I saw stars, I was so excited.
Do all the bears out there see real live fairy's,
Or is it just in Australia? We have them here.

Then of course my dear friend that I meet every month at the market had to help Father Christmas today, because he was so busy seeing all the children.
Jaden gives me lots of hugs, and we are best mates.

Granny had some snow men on her stall, and I'm sure I saw the shivering just a little bit.

I don't know, I am the luckiest Bear in the whole wide world.
Another parcel come this week.
Guess who it is from...
Go on guess?
From some one that is a very, very good friend of mine...
Her name starts with "P"
Have you guessed? It was from Prudence, and her Mum is Joyce from "The Bear's Blog" all the way from the USA.

Granny and I opened it, and out popped this most gorgeous little mouse that smelt so yummy of cloves, and cinnamon and all Christmas spices.
He has his own little stocking to sleep in, and he loves being on the tree.

Can you see him? He has a red and white bow on his neck, and a hanger.
I climbed straight up my ladder to pop him right in the front spot on the tree.
Thank you Prudence.

Now in that box was 2 more parcels,
One that had Granny's name on, and one that had Wilbur's name on.
Granny said we should wait and open these Christmas day.
"Why is it so hard not to lift the paper and have a peep?"

I have had such an exciting day, that I am am pooped.
I'm sitting in bed having supper of peanut butter and honey on toast, with a glass of warm chocolate milk and a ... wait for it.... a shortbread biscuit...
Life could not be better.
See you all next week.

Roses for my followers.
These were from my garden to you.
The rose is called Pinkie.
