Blackwood Market.
The first market for the year.
Granny needs to get sewing, her table is not very full.
I was just checking out all the bears had washed their faces and cleaned behind their ears.
Granny found this lovely stall that had great paper craft.
She loved this cup and saucer, so much, that she bought one to put a wee teddy in a cup to sell..
It was just a little showery in the morning, then it turned out a lovely day.
All Markets at Blackwood are lovely days.
Hmmmmm!!!!!
Excuse me!!!!
Does every one agree with me this HONEY stall is the best stall here.
YUM...
Half way through the afternoon I wanted a nap, so I found these extra squishy, soft gorgeous dogs beds.
Now I am not a dog, It is still comfy for a bear.
This lovely lady had so many lovely silk scarves that were hand dyed to sell.
Also beeeeuuutiful material that was cotton.
Guess what... I didn't know whether to have my cards read or not...
I was a little unsure.
Sometimes you just need to buck up and have courage.
So here goes.
This lovely lady put the cards down on the table. then she some how read what it all meant.
She told me I would have a very successful year, and I might find (blushing)
Romance.
Whoo Hooo..
I'm always tired after a market. Early morning and teddy's don't go together.
So supper of warm milk, toast, with honey and peanut butter.
My tummy felt very happy.
See you all next week.
That's how I felt.
Hugs Wilbur.
These gum blossoms are for all my dear followers.
My thought for the day.
"Great minds discuss ideas.
Average minds discuss events.
Small minds discuss people."
Che bel mercato! Sarebbe piaciuto anche a me fare un giro con te e Granny! ^_^
ReplyDeleteHi Wilbur,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fun day at the market. Did you buy a scarf for Granny? Sure hope so, Valentine's Day is only a week away, you know.
Heaps of Hugs
Prudence ♥
Fluby really shares your opinion about the honey stall... ;O) And although early markets and teddy's don't match very well but there was a lot being offered that was perfect for you... One of these scarves might be helpful when it comes to romance *teehee* - not for you, you're handsome enough... but as a gift for... whoever... *grin* Please tell Granny that we really like the idea of putting one of her bearies in the paper cup she bought, what a fantastic purchase.

I am not sure why, but I just loved this post!! Of course I love places like this to visit and haven't been to one in ages. I mostly go to garage sales.
ReplyDeleteAbby says she SO agree's that the HONEY stand was the best stall in the entire grounds!! I told her I agreed..but shhhhh...I didn't really. I LOVE tea cups..but what's tea without HONEY..maybe I need to rethink my preferences. heh heh!
We both send out love to you Wilbur and to Granny! A sweeter woman never lived...AND we are hoping the romance part comes through. That would be so nice!!
I mean LOVE is definately in the air.
Love,
Mona and Abby
Fun market! You must tell Granny, though, that she mustn't spend all her profits on frivolous whims! She should spend them on extra honey.
Josephine
