My very own Christmas tree

My very own Christmas tree.
I asked Granny if I could have my very own Christmas tree
and decorate it just how I wanted to.
Well I got it all set up and I was singing Ru-doff the Red Nose Reindeer and my nose started to go red. So I was then singing Santa is coming to town, and could you believe I started to grow a beard.
In to the bathroom lickerty split I needed to shave it off before Granny saw me, or she might not have let me have my own tree.
Do you think it is a magic tree?????
I certainly don't want to grow a beard as long or as white as this  Santa.
Now this Santa looks as though he might have magic in him, so he can see the boys and girls all over the world.
I believe, he will come to me because I do try and be good.
There was so much excitement today with the whiskers thing I will be glad to have supper of toast and honey with peanut butter on top.
See you next week.
Hugs Wilbur

To all my beautiful followers I hope Santa has your name in his book.

My thought of the week.

"Patience is the ability to keep your motor idling,
When you feel like stripping the gears."

  2. Oh Wilbur, you are so funny (giggle). I think you are fooling us and wanting to make us laugh, it's working.

But......we all believe in The Magic of Christmas!

  4. OMG - we never would have expected that trimming a Christmas tree could be that dangerous... But maybe this is some sort of that special magic of Christmas. We're curious what your tree looks like when you're done - and how often you might have to shave... ;O)

  9. You have a nice little tree there. Santa comes to all good boys, girls and bears. And since you are always trying to be good, I am quite sure that he will come and bring you a present! But don't grow a Santa's beard again - the real Santa might think you stole his! Oh, and I do know where red noses come from! You may have looked into the honey pot too deep! Singing is another symptom...

  10. Oh Wilbur we have got to tell Santa this story because we're sure he's going to get a good laugh. Being North Pole bears we know how real the magic of Christmas is but a beard? Really??? (giggle)

Christmas time is the best time of the year and we wish we could spend it with all of our friends. Be sure to take some pictures of your tree when it's all decked out.

    Big Hugs,
    Bellamine & Wendy

  12. Merry Christmas, Wilbur and Granny!! It's going to be a delightful month. I don't get my very own tree, I have to share (with DOLLS! grrrrr..) but I am getting much better at it. Especially the baby dolls...they really are kinda cute.
    Big hugs to you both,
    Abby

  13. HI Wilbur, If I get my own tree, can I get all messy like you? That looks like fun. Old Grumpy (Alan) says we're not having a tree this year 'cos we're going to Glasgow for Christmas. We'll see LT and the hug up there and have a merry time, so all is not lost.
    Hugs,
    Jock
