I have found a friend

Look who I found.... a friend!!!

A little bunny called Lilly; came to stay at our house she is as cute as a button and was very friendly.
Granny's grand daughter Abbey went for a holiday, so Lilly came to stay with us.
She played  the hopping game on the floor and she could hop a lot better than me.
Oh !we do need time to groom ourselves don't we.  What am I supposed to do while she is licking herself!!!!!
I thought she might like a snack," Granny what do rabbits eat". Granny said they like carrots, cabbage, apple, celery, broccoli, and sultanas yes grapes as well. I also  need to feed her  pellets and grains."
She is tickling me when she eats, I think she is so soft and beautiful, "Granny can she sleep with me." Granny said No, she needs to sleep in her hutch, but I can play with her tomorrow.
Look she must have been hungry the celery is nearly all gone.

Can you see that little white ball of fluff hopping around the garden. She loves hopping around , but I must tell you all( Shhhh. Granny has to catch Lilly and it is a laugh and a half to watch.)hahaha!!!! Poor Granny she is not the fastest runner on the Planet, although I love her very much.
Granny tells me that we must be gentle and kind to all living creatures, and care for them well.
I am telling you all ,I am caring for Lilly very well. Fresh food and water every day. Lots of hops around the garden and always a treat for her when she goes back in her hutch. I even helped Granny clean out the straw where she sleeps.

Only 6 more sleeps and I will be in an aeroplane flying to my Summer camp Yippee!!!!

Time for toast , peanut butter and Honey, I'm pooped from running around with that bunny.
I hope I dream of camp.

A Warm friendly WELCOME

  2. Hi Wilbur,

Oh, Lilly is so precious. Isn't it fun to have a pet to cuddle up with? They get all toasty warm and snuggle with you - and playtime is always loads of fun.

Oh boy, next week this time we will be waking up at camp. It's almost time for camp, I am so excited.

    See you next Saturday.

    Hugs ♥
    Prudence

  3. What a lovely guest is staying around with you, dear Wilbur - enjoy the few days with your new friend until you're going to leave for camp. How exciting. And Granny will be busy chasing after Lilly and will have less time to miss you... (LOL). We don't let our bunnies hop through the gardens here in Germany without protection of big cages, too many cats and especially danger out of the air, buzzards and hawks who might catch a poor bunny as an easy prey... brrrrr.

    Greetings
    Flutterby + Birgit

  5. Hi Wilbur,
I'm sure Granny must be very proud of you, being so helpful with Lilly - well done!
The critters said to remind you to get lots of sleep this week, so that you'll be able to watch all the movies on the plane.
Hugs from Kayzy and her critters.

  8. Hi Wilbur,
Lilly looks exactly like the bunny who's been coming to our garden for the "all you can eat buffet". That's what our mom says when she looks out and sees the bunny that comes to visit us.
It won't be long now and we'll all be together at Camp Good Bear. YIPPEE!!! We can hardly wait. See you soon. Don't forget to bring a flash light.
    Hugs,
    Bellamine & Wendy

Lilly is adorable, just like you, and I'm glad you have found another playmate. Playmates are so important! My grands are heading to camp tomorrow for a whole week. I hope they have as much fun as you do at yours!

  19. Well, well WIlbur, you look as if you're having fun, especially watching Granny chase Lilly. Do be careful when you're feeding Lilly though, 'cos Katy had a rabbit once that ate the curtains, so I would watch your toes and paws and ears when that rabbit gets up close.
I've been away on a big journey on trains and planes and cars. I'll be writing about it to-morrow (if He can get his act together.)
    Hugs,
    Jock
