Clarrie the Clown bear

Clarrie
This is not my pattern It was from a pattern called George that was given to me. The designers name was not on the pattern.
So forgive me.
Clarrie is 30cm tall with out his hat, and 40cm. tall with his hat.
I'm made from Felted Schulte Mohair, he has black glass eyes to see with and sculpted face, with shading
to make him a lovely aged bear. He has 5 jointes, one cotter pin and legs and arms, lock nut and bolts.
His tummy has been softly filled for that aged saggy look. The tummy was filled with glass beads for weight, to make him nice to hold. Plastic pellets to make him squishy, and poly fill.
His nose, eyes, ears and paws have been air brushed to look a little grubby from years of hugging.
His paws are made from  leather. His cute little button nose is embroidered and waxed.
He is wearing a double torn collar and hat made from cotton and  stiffening.
With  a ruffel down the front with air brushed pom poms
He wears an old rusty key around his neck, that is on leather thronging.
He fits so well into a very old collar box that comes with him. It is made of leather, and has Collars written in gold on the lid. The strap is broken just where you buckle it. Plus there is a tiny patch where  the top of the leather has come off. This all adds to the age and  history of the box.

Clarrie looks Old worldy, with that gentley worn look of being well hugged.

He comes with the collar  box.

  17. Oh, I forgot I had a little question. What is the felted Schulte mohair like, I have Schulte mohair and most of it is wavy or sparse, I have never seen the felted mohair you have used.
    I'm just curious.
    Hugs,
    Susan
