The story of the manger.

"Granny can I sleep under this tree?"
"No Wilbur you will be all Grumpy tomorrow if you stare at those lights all night"
"Well Granny will you tell me the story of the Manger again?"
Oh dear, Wilbur you just love it when the Nativity scene comes out don't you?"

" Can I put the manger in, with the baby inside?"
"No Wilbur your paws are too big. Perhaps your little friends can help. Bucca and Honey Bun would love to help you."

"Can I shrink like them, I want to put the baby in?"
"Wilbur that is what little friends are for to help you do things you can't"

"Well can I put the fairy on ?"
"Wilbur that is not a fairy its an Angel."
"Well can I put Gloria on?"
"She is not called Gloria, That sign just means  Glory in the highest."
"Is that because she is on the roof and it is high up?"
"No Wilbur, she told the Shepards a baby was born, who was a King and our Savior". "Every year we get these questions. Let us just enjoy the  nativity scene."
"OH I do love Christmas, although there are so many questions that go through my mind."

We have Carols playing, and having warm chocolate milk, with toast, honey and peanut butter.

See you all next week.

This picture is for all my followers.
If you came to visit you could walk down my pretty foot path.

My thought for the week.
"Recall it as often as you wish, a happy memory never wears out.."

  1. Hi Wilbur,

Your tree is bee-u-tee-ful, but the manger is my favorite. Sometimes our teddy bear paws restrict things that we want to do and it makes me sad. Mom tells me to smile 'cause I am so special in her life.

Wilbur, you are special in my life too.

    Heaps of Hugs
    Prudence ♥

  2. Dear Wilbur,
Your talk with Granny helped put the 'Christ' back into Christmas for us - thank you. Gloria indeed! Hugs from us xoxo

  3. Wilbur is very curious ....
Thank you for the beautiful picture with the trees. What is the name of the tree?

  4. Oh yes, the time passes and soon the first Advent, wish a nice time and no stress. Can my Christmas with you not imagine without winter but as you can at least be out side. All the best and see you soon, read again and although I do not always write something. Greetings from Germany - Dirk -

  5. Hi Wilbur, how kind your little lovely friends helped with the Manger! Just like Granny says: that's what friends are for. You lucky bear!

What a gorgeous picture from the purple foot path! Very special!

    Be well beautiful golden bear!

    Big Hugs from Pink! xxx

  7. Hi Wilbur,
It's good to be curious...that is how we learn. Granny is very smart and you must always listen to her ;-) I love the picture and would love to walk down that pretty path. Thank you for sharing.
