He is an Old Salt with a distinguished uniform, that sometimes makes the girls swoon.

    Cedric is a fine fellow, and made quite an impression on Joy and Shirley when they met him at Hahndorf. Of course, Shirley's heart is taken by Wilbur, but she can still appreciate such a manly bear as Cedric, but Joy is fancy free, and looking forward to seeing him again. However, I've told her to be prepared for disappointment, because someone is sure to snap Cedric up, now that his handsome face is on the internet.
