Hi it's Wilbur here.

It is about time I said Hello!
Can you remember me???
I'm Wilbur.

Now I have a lot to tell you but I will tell you bit by bit.
This year I have been so busy, and Granny said I was using too much screen time, soooo, I did miss you all.

I probably won't be writing every week, but I do want so badly to keep in touch with my lovely friends.
Guess what happened on Friday? A parcel arrived for ME!
Goody, goody gum drops I was so excited.

Granny always taught me to read the card first. It was so pretty and guess who it was from?
Some one on the other side of the world. ( I can never work out how they don't slip off if our world is round.)

Of course it is from my very, very dear friend Prudence.
My heart skipped a little beat.

Can you guess?
It is the most perfect place mat that ever could be. It was made by Prudence's Mum, and it even has Christmas 2015 on it, so I will never, ever forget when she gave it to me.
On the other side it has a picture of lots of lovely friendly bears.
I definitely won't spill my milk on it. I promised Granny I would be very careful.

Something else was in the envelope that came from the other side of the world.
I opened it before I read it was for Granny. "Sorry Granny."
So we read the card together. What a lovely snowy scene, do you think it may be Prudence's house?
She would not want ice blocks from the fridge in that cold weather. I love them when it is hot at my house.
In the parcel for Granny was the most beautiful music you could ever hear, from Baltimore Estate. We played it straight away and both Granny and I could imagine Prudence and her mum, walking through that most beautiful house seeing all the Christmas trees and twinkling lights. I think they might even play the same music we now have.
(I can just dream)
Ha! ha! guess what? There was even more fun after we finished looking at our  presents....... POPPING the BUBBLE WRAP!!!

Do you like doing that. Once I start I can't stop.

It is great to say Hello to you all again, but guess what?
I am going to have my milk and cookies on my own special mat and off to bed to dream about a special friend, who was so, so kind sending Granny and me a wonderful parcel.

I will see you all some time soon.

My thought for the day

" Our days are happier when we give
people a bit of our heart,
rather than a piece of our mind."

  1. Hi Wilbur,

So beary happy that you and Granny like your prezzies. We love that CD too, it's music from the Porter Music Box that was in the house. They have a replica of it in the gift shop (whoa, $$$). Me 'n Mom love that music and have been playing it for a few weeks now. I loved watching Mom make your placemat and I had the final say on how it was to look.

Yes, that is where I live, no need for ice cubes now until next summer.

    Heaps of Hugs
    Prudence ♥

  3. Dearest Kay,
So happy to write about you both here again!
Lovely gift parcel you received and such music always bridges the distance and the language barrier, if needed.
Sending you hugs for a happy weekend in good health.
